• I was raised in the Arbor Heights neighborhood of Seattle, Washington and am currently residing in Burien
• I graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Sociology and Spanish
• My hobbies include reading, studying languages, martial arts and traveling
• Teach For America and Americorp alumnus, Phoenix Corps 1994 - 1996
• JET(Japan Exchange and Teaching) Program alumnus, Kobe, Japan 1996 - 1998
• I currently co-own Three Tree Tea Company with my husband Masa (and 6 year-old son, Felix!)
